Business Development Manager - Education

About the role

Whizz HR is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for education‑related book fairs in the UAE. You will act as the primary liaison with schools, building lasting relationships and expanding our client base.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, school leaders, librarians and other decision‑makers.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Develop new business while nurturing existing school accounts.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of each book fair.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular sales updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Experience in school book fairs, educational publishing, book distribution or the education sector is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills.
• Strong understanding of the UAE school market and how to approach educational institutions.
• An existing network of school contacts is highly preferred.
• Self‑driven, target‑focused and comfortable meeting new people.
