Business Development Manager – Fintech & Payments

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive new‑business acquisition for Alaan’s fintech and payments solutions across SMEs and mid‑market companies in the UAE. The role focuses on acquiring corporate clients, building a robust pipeline and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation, discovery and demo to negotiation and closing.
• Build pipeline through outbound channels such as cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns and networking.
• Engage founders, finance teams and business owners to present Alaan’s AI‑powered spend‑management platform.
• Close deals quickly using a high‑velocity sales motion and continuously experiment with messaging and go‑to‑market approaches.
• Collaborate with product and leadership teams to shape sales strategy and improve the offering.

Required profile

• 1‑6 years of experience in outbound sales, SDR or early‑stage account executive roles.
• Proven cold‑calling and prospecting ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience selling to SMEs or mid‑market companies, preferably in fintech, payments or B2B SaaS.
• High energy, urgency and bias for action; multilingual abilities (Hindi/Urdu a plus).
