Business Development Manager – Human Risk Management (GCC)

About the role

SGS is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to expand its Human Risk Management services across the GCC. The role focuses on promoting the digital KYC/KYE platform and selling background screening and due‑diligence solutions to organisations operating in highly regulated, risk‑sensitive environments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC.
• Sell SGS Human Risk Management solutions, including KYC, KYE, employment background screening, due diligence and third‑party risk management.
• Build relationships with compliance, risk, HR, procurement and C‑level managers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations and commercial proposals.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth while monitoring market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Compliance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of successful B2B business development or sales experience within the GCC.
• Proven experience selling services to financial institutions, multinational corporations, luxury brands, technology companies or other regulated industries.
• Existing network within finance, IT or luxury sectors.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Arabic, German or Russian is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of KYC/AML processes.
• Knowledge of KYE (Know Your Employee) methodologies.
• Experience with employment background screening.
• Expertise in due diligence and third‑party risk management.
• Experience selling SaaS, RegTech or compliance technology platforms.
