Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will manage end‑to‑end supplier contracts for our cargo operations, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and data‑driven insights across the contract lifecycle. This position combines contract administration, supplier onboarding, and performance reporting to support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve a central repository of all cargo supplier contracts, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
• Lead RFP processes for new and existing suppliers, handling documentation, approvals, renewals, and compliance checks.
• Oversee supplier onboarding and offboarding, confirming contractual obligations, operational readiness, and required training.
• Manage supplier communication channels, distributing corporate updates, policy changes, and operational guidance.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and visual dashboards for the Customer Experience function, translating raw data into actionable insights for executive presentations.
• Record meeting minutes, monitor follow‑up actions, and ensure timely closure of items to support cross‑functional governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a commercial discipline; logistics or aviation management education is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the airline or cargo industry.
• Strong understanding of cargo commercial and operations processes and industry standards.
• Proven business analysis experience in aviation.
