Business Development Representative (BDR) – Fintech

About the role

Join SimCorp’s FinTech team in Abu Dhabi as a Business Development Representative (BDR). You will work closely with the Managing Director for Middle‑East and Africa and collaborate with sales, pre‑sales and marketing to generate new business opportunities across the MEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and engage target prospects through phone, email, social media and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Apply BANT criteria to assess budget, authority, need and timeline of inbound leads.
• Support account‑based marketing initiatives by gathering intelligence and sharing tailored content.
• Monitor government and public‑sector tenders to uncover potential opportunities.
• Maintain and enrich the prospect pipeline to enable the sales team’s pipeline growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Interest in financial technology and experience in B2B outreach.
