Business Development Representative – Enterprise AI Solutions

About the role

As a Business Development Representative at Cohere, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high‑potential leads for our enterprise AI solutions. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, aligning their business challenges with Cohere’s cutting‑edge language models and AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively research and identify target accounts across industries such as finance, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector.
• Make 40+ outbound calls and personalized emails daily to engage decision‑makers and demonstrate how Cohere’s AI solutions address their pain points.
• Qualify leads using the BANT framework and maintain accurate records in Salesforce to ensure a clean pipeline.
• Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve campaign response rates.
• Stay updated on industry trends and run independent sales cycles on smaller opportunities from intro to close.

Required profile

• 2+ years of business development or sales experience in a SaaS or tech environment with a proven track record of exceeding lead generation targets.
• Native or fluent Arabic speaker with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot and ability to analyse outreach data.
• Basic understanding of AI, machine learning and natural language processing concepts.
• Builder mindset and ability to adapt to evolving challenges.
