Butchery Commis (Level 3) – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis (Level 3) to join our butchery team at Westin Dubai Marina. The role involves preparing, portioning and cooking a variety of food items while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, weigh, store and peel fruits and vegetables.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Monitor food temperature, test doneness and ensure food safety compliance.
• Set‑up and break‑down work stations, clean and disinfect tools, knives and equipment.
• Serve food in correct portions and maintain a tidy kitchen environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen or butchery experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift items up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Commitment to follow safety, hygiene and company policies.

• Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately.
