Buying Manager – Kitchen Category

About the role

The Homecentre division of Landmark Group is seeking an experienced Buying Manager to lead the Kitchen category. You will be responsible for the full P&L of the category, driving growth, profitability and ensuring the right product assortment reaches our customers across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for the Kitchen category, aligning sales targets and gross margin objectives with corporate budgets.
• Prepare annual merchandise plans, analyse historical sales data and market trends, and set pricing, promotion and assortment strategies.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create product specifications, manage budgets and ensure quality standards are met.
• Build and maintain a strong vendor base, negotiate contracts, monitor credit terms and optimise cash‑flow through effective buy‑in and order management.
• Oversee in‑season inventory management, stock balancing, markdowns and performance analysis across territories.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in buying, category management or merchandise planning within the kitchen or home‑retail sector.
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth and margin improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management capabilities.
