About the role

Etihad is launching a two‑year Cadet Pilot Programme for UAE nationals. The programme combines ground school in the UAE and abroad, flight simulations and practical flying training, all under a strict "Safety First" approach. Successful graduates will join Etihad’s growing fleet as qualified pilots.

Key responsibilities

• Complete structured ground school courses in the UAE and overseas.
• Participate in flight simulation sessions and hands‑on flying training.
• Adhere to safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Pass the License Skill Test (LST) and subsequent line‑training assessments.
• Accumulate required flight hours and obtain the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Required profile

• UAE national, aged 18‑29.
• Minimum height of 160 cm.
• High school diploma with at least 80 % overall and passing grades in Mathematics and Physics, or a higher education degree.
• Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or EmSAT English score of 1250.
• Completed or exempted from UAE National Service (males only).
• Passion for aviation and commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of AED 5,000 during the first two years of training.
• Salary increase to AED 16,667 after passing the License Skill Test.
• Further increase to AED 24,000 after line‑training, with step increments up to AED 34,000.
• Promotion to Senior First Officer with a monthly salary of AED 39,853 upon obtaining the ATPL.
