Camp Officer – Accommodation Management

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Camp Officer to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our worker accommodation in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures a safe, clean, organized and comfortable living environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the workers’ camp, supervising staff and ensuring compliance with company rules, camp regulations and management instructions.
• Maintain communication between workers, supervisors and management, addressing complaints, labor‑related concerns and escalating serious issues.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping standards through regular inspections of rooms, common areas, kitchens, toilets and dining facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance, security and cleaning services, reporting facility issues for timely resolution.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare requirements are met, conducting checks of fire safety equipment, emergency exits and compliance with Civil Defence regulations.
• Keep accurate records of room allocations, complaints, maintenance issues and inspections, and support official inspections.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Camp Officer, Camp Supervisor, Accommodation Supervisor or similar role, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of camp housekeeping, hygiene, safety standards and occupational health and safety.
• Ability to handle worker complaints and emergencies professionally and to work under pressure.
• Fluent Arabic communication skills; English communication is an advantage.
