Captain – A320

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced A320 Captain to join its rapidly expanding fleet in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of each flight while upholding the airline’s high standards of professionalism and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
• Lead the flight and cabin crew, applying strong decision‑making and crew‑resource management.
• Ensure safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times.
• Operate efficiently and in line with Etihad’s fuel‑saving and sustainability policies.
• Maintain on‑time performance to meet reliability and guest‑satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5,500 total flight hours.
• At least 2,500 PIC hours on multi‑crew, glass‑cockpit aircraft.
• Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on an A320 family type.
• Recent A320 family experience (flown within the last 12 months).
• Valid A320 type rating (minimum two months remaining at start date).
• Unrestricted, current ICAO ATPL.
