About the role

The Captain for All Day Dining Kitchen Six at JW Marriott Dubai ensures seamless service delivery for banquet and restaurant operations. You will act as the liaison between guests, service staff, and the kitchen, guaranteeing high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service needs, dietary requirements, and special requests to chefs and stewards.
• Prepare and present group checks, handling total charges and payment processing.
• Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee‑break areas are set up and ready for service, including proper centrepieces and table settings.
• Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silverware before use.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift and adhere to safety and security policies.
• Uphold uniform standards, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and arranging items up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Assist supervisors with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
