Cargo Application Support – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Cargo Application Support professional to join our team in Dubai. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end operation of the Cargo SkyChain system, ensuring smooth booking, accounting and cargo handling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day application support for Cargo SkyChain, monitoring performance, interfaces and message processing.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, user‑reported issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Support cargo operations including booking, acceptance, warehouse and flight handling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cargo messaging standards (FFM, FWB, FHL, ASM, CPM, UCM, UWS, LIR, AGM).
• Coordinate with business users, vendors and IT teams to resolve system issues.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression and end‑to‑end testing, and support production releases.
• Analyze operational data using SQL queries and ensure compliance with IATA cargo messaging standards.
• Maintain documentation, support procedures and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cargo application support or similar role.
• Intermediate (mid‑level) career stage.
• Strong functional expertise in Cargo SkyChain from booking to accounting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and provide on‑call support when required.

Required skills

• Cargo SkyChain system knowledge.
• SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• IATA cargo messaging standards (FFM, FWB, FHL, ASM, CPM, UCM, UWS, LIR, AGM).
