Cargo Operations Services Officer

About the role

As a Cargo Operations Services Officer you will execute tender and contract activities for cargo handling services, ensuring timely technical, contractual and operational evaluations. You will also support station start‑ups, ground handling agent changes and supplier performance across the Emirates SkyCargo network.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tenders in coordination with Group Procurement, Regional Operations and Cargo Managers, following established processes.
• Conduct technical and compliance assessments, compile operational evaluations and scoring with stakeholders.
• Plan and carry out site inspections, operational readiness reports and transition plans for new ground handling agents.
• Collaborate with route management, training, systems and local cargo managers to ensure smooth operational transitions.
• Collect and analyse GHA performance data, identify SLA gaps and report issues to the Cargo Handling Services & Performance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an air‑cargo operational environment.
• Experience in airport cargo operations, supervisory roles and quality/safety assurance programmes.
• Proven communication and collaboration skills for contracting, station start‑up and performance management.
