Cargo Revenue Management Manager

About the role

As the Manager Cargo Revenue Management at Etihad Airways, you will own cargo revenue for the assigned region, leading a team of Revenue Analysts to optimise the portfolio and maximise utilisation of freighter, belly and RFS capacity. You will work closely with Network Planning, Commercial, Operations and Pricing to ensure alignment with the airline’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Revenue Analysts managing a regional portfolio of routes.
• Monitor portfolio KPIs (LF, SCB) and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team reviews to challenge assumptions, validate RM strategies and reinforce contribution‑based steering.
• Serve as first escalation point for performance issues and capacity conflicts.
• Oversee capacity utilisation and overall contribution, including allocation strategy, demand steering and disruption recovery.
• Review and validate Entry Conditions before flight openings and monitor booking trends post‑launch.
• Collaborate with Pricing to ensure Entry Conditions reflect current market dynamics.
• Align with Network Planning on capacity changes and provide RM recommendations.
• Coordinate with Operations to align FBLs to constraints, minimise offloads and support FAP performance.
• Partner with Commercial to spot revenue opportunities and address key customer needs.
• Lead RM system rollout, training and adoption, and feed improvements to optimise UX and workflow.
• Support strategic initiatives such as seasonal planning, process improvements and analytics dashboard enhancements.
• Contribute to weekly performance highlights and monthly business reviews.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business, Statistics or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the airline industry, with at least 3 years in Cargo Revenue Management.
• Proven leadership experience managing analysts or similar teams.
