Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Carpenter to join our maintenance team at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality carpentry work, support guest satisfaction, and contribute creative solutions to everyday maintenance challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, focusing on carpentry‑related issues.
• Construct, install, and repair shelving, cabinets, doors, locks, windows, glazing, and partition walls.
• Remove damaged sections of wood, plywood or wallboard and replace them using hand and power tools.
• Finish surfaces by painting, paneling, or applying plaster, and carry out plasterboard patching and sanding.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification with proven carpentry experience.
• Good command of English and ability to identify and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and adaptable to unpredictable situations.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, pay attention to detail, and follow safety procedures.

Required skills

• Use of carpentry hand tools and power tools.
• Woodworking, shelving and cabinet construction.
• Door lock, window and glazing installation.
• Painting, plaster repair, and sanding techniques.
