Cashier

About the role

The Cashier is responsible for handling guest payments and ensuring accurate cash management across hotel outlets. This role supports the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams by processing cash, credit card, and other payment methods while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest checks and billing in the Fidelio system, handling cash, credit cards, gift certificates and foreign currency.
• Maintain the house bank, ensure it is fully stocked, and reconcile any shortages promptly.
• Prepare and deposit cash sales envelopes at the end of each shift, logging all drops with the Security Office.
• Verify guest identification for room charges and enforce payment policies for cheques and foreign currency.
• Collaborate with outlet managers to ensure no open checks remain in Micros before closing.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cashier or guest‑facing role in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
