Cashier – Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a professional, customer‑focused Cashier to join our stand‑alone restaurant team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all guest payments, ensuring accurate billing and supporting smooth daily operations. This position requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process cash, card and digital payments accurately.
• Handle billing, refunds and daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintain order accuracy and coordinate with the service team when required.
• Operate the POS system efficiently.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, prices and promotions.
• Support restaurant operations during busy service periods.
• Follow company policies, hygiene standards and cash‑handling procedures.
• Report any discrepancies or guest concerns to management immediately.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant, café or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash‑handling procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Immediate availability in the UAE.
