CCR Operator – Level I

About the role

The CCR Operator – Level I will work in the control room of a power and water plant, ensuring steady‑state operation and meeting production targets while adhering to ACWA NOMAC work instructions, quality, health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control power and water unit parameters from the control panel, adjusting operating conditions as required.
• Maintain continuous radio contact with field operators and coordinate actions to keep the plant within defined parameters.
• Update control‑room registers, logs and perform proper shift handovers.
• Diagnose equipment abnormalities, correct faults when possible, or raise work requests for further repair.
• Coordinate Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO) procedures and follow Permit‑to‑Work requirements during maintenance isolation.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to junior team members.

Required profile

• Understanding of plant layout, processes and advanced technology systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and HSSE guidelines.
• Effective communication with field operators and shift supervisors.
