Chassis Electrical Team Lead – Vehicle Systems

About the role

NAFFCO is seeking an experienced Chassis Electrical Team Lead to manage the design, testing and installation of vehicle chassis electrical systems across its UAE operations. The role involves leading a small technical team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with engineering, production and commissioning groups to deliver reliable electrical architectures on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate work to electrical technicians and engineers, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones and production schedules.
• Oversee development and review of chassis electrical schematics, wiring harness layouts, connector and component selection.
• Maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, bills of material and test procedures.
• Develop and supervise testing programmes for harnesses, controllers, sensors and power distribution systems.
• Lead fault diagnosis, root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Support procurement by specifying components, reviewing quotations and managing spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in automotive or vehicle electrical projects.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring harness design and vehicle networks.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
