Chef De Partie – Arabic Kitchen

About the role

The Chef de Partie will lead the Arabic Kitchen team at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, ensuring high‑quality dishes are prepared and presented in line with the hotel’s standards. This full‑time position combines culinary expertise with supervisory responsibilities to deliver an authentic Arabic dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cooks and kitchen staff.
• Determine food presentation, create decorative displays and ensure proper portioning and garnish.
• Monitor food preparation quantities and communicate menu specials or out‑of‑stock items to service staff.
• Prepare special meals, substitute items and assist cooks with various tasks.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, monitor stock levels and order as needed.
• Keep kitchen logs for food safety programs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, report incidents and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in culinary arts.
• 4‑6 years of relevant kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Commitment to food safety, quality standards and confidentiality.
