Chef de Partie - Bakery

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to lead our bakery operations at Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the restaurant chef, you will ensure the bakery runs safely, efficiently and profitably while delivering high‑quality products that reflect Anantara’s culinary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise all activities within the bakery kitchen, maintaining smooth and profitable operations.
• Support the development and implementation of cuisine concepts and standards.
• Stay informed about local market trends and suppliers, recommending menu changes based on seasonal availability.
• Follow Anantara’s food preparation and presentation guidelines to guarantee consistent quality.
• Maintain food safety, proper storage, dating, rotation and sanitation practices.
• Manage bakery assets and equipment, ensuring safety and optimal condition.
• Participate in departmental training and mentor team members.
• Foster positive inter‑departmental communication and cooperation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a bakery or similar kitchen environment.
• Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
