Chef de Partie – Bakery

About the role

The Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to lead its bakery operations. You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of breads, pastries and other bakery items while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce breads, pastries and bakery products according to established recipes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality and presentation of all items.
• Assist with daily preparation and production requirements of the bakery section.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and sanitation at all times.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products.
• Follow recipes, portion control and production schedules accurately.
• Handle, store and rotate bakery ingredients properly.
• Train and guide junior team members when required.
• Contribute to the development of new products and seasonal offerings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar bakery role within a luxury hotel, high‑end restaurant or reputable bakery.
• Strong knowledge of bakery production techniques, including bread, dough and pastry preparation.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Creative approach with a passion for bakery product presentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is preferred.
