Chef De Partie - Bakery

About the role

The Chef De Partie – Bakery will work alongside the restaurant chef to manage all kitchen activities for the bakery outlet at Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi. The role ensures smooth, safe, and profitable operations while upholding Anantara’s culinary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise daily bakery operations, maintaining safety, efficiency and profitability.
• Support development and implementation of cuisine concepts and menu standards.
• Monitor local market trends and supplier performance.
• Recommend seasonal menu changes based on product availability.
• Ensure food preparation and presentation follow Anantara guidelines.
• Maintain strict food safety, handling, dating, storage and rotation practices.
• Manage asset protection and upkeep of bakery equipment.
• Participate in departmental training and mentor team members.
• Promote positive inter‑departmental communication and cooperation.

Required profile

• Experience in a bakery or pastry environment within a hotel or resort setting.
• Familiarity with local suppliers and seasonal product sourcing.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standards kitchen.
• Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
