Chef de Partie Pastry

About the role

AlphaMind Group is seeking a Chef de Partie – Pastry to lead the pastry section of its fine‑dining restaurant Kira in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high‑quality pastries and desserts that meet the brand’s standards of taste, presentation and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the pastry section, ensuring all items are prepared and presented according to fine‑dining standards.
• Maintain consistency, precision and quality throughout service, coordinating with other kitchen stations.
• Monitor portion control, minimise waste and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Supervise, guide and train Commis Chefs within the pastry section, leading by example.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory management and proper storage using FIFO principles.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a fine‑dining environment.
• Strong attention to detail, passion for quality ingredients and refined presentation.
• Ability to lead a team, train junior staff and maintain a disciplined work environment.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure during service.
