About the role
The Chef de Partie – Rush Production is responsible for preparing special and substitute meals, managing kitchen equipment temperatures, and ensuring high‑quality food presentation during busy service periods at W Hotels in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, substitute items and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and maintain food logs.
- Thaw frozen items in refrigeration, portion, arrange and garnish dishes accurately.
- Monitor food quality and quantity, and communicate assistance needs during peak times.
- Inform the Chef and service staff about excess items, daily specials and out‑of‑stock menu items.
- Support management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as a role model.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
