Chief Human Capital Officer

About the role

The Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) is a senior member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and delivering the Group’s people strategy across its hotels in the Middle East and GCC. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, the CHCO will drive organisational growth, leadership capability and a high‑performance culture aligned with exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Group‑wide human capital strategy aligned with business objectives, brand standards and growth plans.
• Advise the CEO and Board on organisation design, workforce planning, succession and leadership matters.
• Lead corporate HR and provide strategic direction to property HR teams across the Group.
• Build a guest‑centric culture focused on ownership, accountability and employee engagement.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll governance and reward strategies across markets.
• Ensure compliance with GCC labour laws, nationalisation requirements and HR governance.

Required profile

• Executive presence with credibility among CEOs, Boards and senior owners.
• Extensive experience in hotels, hospitality or other complex multi‑site service environments, preferably across multiple GCC countries.
• Proven track record of organisational transformation, pre‑openings and change management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen linking people strategy to productivity and profitability.
• Excellent cross‑cultural leadership, communication and influencing skills.
