Chief Supervisor – Drivers & Institutes Licensing Regulation

About the role

The Chief Supervisor will lead the coordination of driver‑licensing institutes, training centres and medical providers to ensure that contracts, legislation, fees and agreements comply with Authority policies and standards. The role also manages communications, complaints and corrective actions while supporting the expansion of training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of studies for expansion and development of driver‑licensing services.
• Draft legislation, laws and unified contracts governing institutes, training centres and medical examination providers.
• Approve marketing and awareness campaigns to ensure alignment with Authority policies.
• Prepare recommendations on opening, modifying, suspending or cancelling licences for institutes and branches.
• Review secret‑shopper reports and trainee satisfaction surveys, and advise on corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of agreements with institutes and service providers to ensure compliance.
• Develop relationships with professional drivers and evaluate service quality.
• Handle requests from the DTS system, communicate circulars and ensure consistent implementation of departmental decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years (96 months) of relevant experience in licensing, regulatory or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of driver‑licensing regulations and ability to draft legislative documents.
• Proven experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including institutes and government authorities.
• Excellent communication skills for handling complaints, approvals and stakeholder updates.
