Child Minder

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Child Minder to support our guests’ recreational experience at our Dubai property. You will be the main point of contact for children’s activities and help create a safe, fun environment for families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information about all recreation facilities, including pools, beach, entertainment zone, fitness centre and child activity centre.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for recreational programmes and assist with private group events.
• Promote safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, process payments for equipment rentals and facility bookings.
• Assist injured guests until medical services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of recreational areas, equipment and supplies.
• Deliver excellent guest service, welcome all visitors, and support individuals with disabilities.
• Use computer systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.

Required profile

• Strong customer-service orientation with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg unaided (heavier items with assistance).
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash and processing transactions.

Required skills

• Point-of-sale (POS) system operation.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry.
