Chinese Translator

About the role

The company is seeking a male Chinese Translator to join its Dubai office on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will bridge communication between Chinese, English and, when required, Arabic, supporting internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Translate written documents, presentations and reports from Chinese to English and vice‑versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Interpret spoken content during meetings and conference calls, providing real‑time language support.
• Maintain and update translation glossaries and terminology databases.
• Proofread and quality‑check all translated material before distribution.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify technical terms and ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English with strong reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities.
• Proven translation and interpretation experience, preferably in a business or technical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai and obtain the necessary work visa.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software such as word processors, spreadsheets and email clients (e.g., Microsoft Office).
