Civil Engineer Internship – Dubai

About the role

As a Civil Engineer Intern at Siemens Energy in Dubai, you will work alongside senior engineers on active tenders and projects, reviewing technical drawings, supporting bid documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical tender inputs, bid documentation, quantity assessments, and preliminary cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, MEP, Design, and Project teams for interdisciplinary design reviews.
• Support preparation of technical submissions, reports, method statements, and presentations.
• Assist in construction planning, sequencing, and execution activities, including reviewing subcontractor and supplier submissions.
• Participate in site inspections, progress monitoring, and resolution of technical issues.
• Contribute to adoption of AI, digital tools, and automation to improve tendering and project execution efficiency.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of civil construction methods and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of tendering processes and project planning principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication of technical information.
• Effective coordination and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
