Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to lead civil and architectural construction activities across residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, on‑time delivery while meeting budget, regulatory and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities for civil and architectural works.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Manage material inspections, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements and technical submittals.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Track labor, equipment and material utilization to optimise productivity.
• Support project planning, cost control and scheduling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and architectural construction, including residential, commercial and high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishing works and structural/architectural drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
