Civil Foreman

About the role

Archirodon Group is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise daily civil construction activities on a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating workforce, materials and equipment to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities and workforce on site.
• Execute works according to approved drawings, method statements, specifications and schedules.
• Oversee excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete, rebar, formwork, blockwork, paving, drainage and underground utilities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for daily tasks.
• Read and interpret civil drawings, layouts and construction details.
• Collaborate with Civil Supervisor, Construction Engineer, Surveyor, QA/QC, HSE and subcontractors.
• Ensure implementation of PTW, risk assessments/JSA, toolbox talks and safe work practices.
• Monitor progress, productivity and report daily site activities.
• Maintain workmanship quality, resolve site issues and ensure good housekeeping and safe access.
• Support inspections, punch‑list clearance, testing and project handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience as a Civil Foreman in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical or industrial projects.
• Previous ADNOC or GCC oil‑gas project experience preferred.
• Diploma/ITI/Technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Civil Construction.
• Strong practical experience in civil construction and site supervision.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements, PTW, JSA/RA and safe work practices.
• Experience in brownfield/live‑plant environments is an advantage.
• Leadership, communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
