Civil Inspector – Infrastructure & Asset Assessment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Inspector to join our team for a large‑scale condition assessment and integrity evaluation project covering ADNOC Gas assets across multiple sites in the UAE. The role involves visual inspections, defect identification, concrete condition evaluation and detailed reporting for civil facilities in both process and non‑process areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structures and other civil assets in operating oil & gas facilities.
• Inspect foundations, pipe racks, sleepers, buildings, roads, drainage systems and fire‑proofing installations.
• Identify cracks, spalling, corrosion indicators, settlement and other forms of deterioration.
• Support non‑destructive testing (NDT) and destructive testing (DT) sampling and activities.
• Prepare inspection reports, crack maps and photographic records, assigning condition ratings and repair priorities.
• Assist with SAP asset tagging and related documentation where required.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 – 12+ years of civil inspection experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably on live operating plants.
• Proven experience with ADNOC projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site across multiple locations in the UAE.

Required skills

• Concrete condition assessment and defect identification.
• Knowledge of BS / ASTM inspection standards.
• Familiarity with NDT and DT testing methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and inspection checklists.
