About the role
Bureau Veritas is looking for a Civil Inspector to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role involves ensuring that civil works are inspected according to approved procedures, relevant codes and standards, and the company’s quality system. You will work on-site, coordinating with project teams to deliver accurate inspection reports.
Key responsibilities
- Review Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plans and related procedures.
- Validate inspection assignment documentation, including technical aspects, schedules and logistics.
- Select appropriate inspection techniques and define Bureau Veritas interventions.
- Execute inspections following the predefined Quality Plan and established procedures.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, handling non‑conformities (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Interpret inspection results and ensure compliance with BV Quality System.
- Maintain internal communication and promote Bureau Veritas services to clients.
- Monitor civil activities according to approved procedures, codes and standards.
