Civil Inspector

About the role

The Civil Inspector will ensure that all civil construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant codes and procedures. The role involves reviewing plans, executing inspections, and reporting findings to the team leader.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plans, procedures and assignment documentation.
• Define Bureau Veritas interventions and select the most appropriate inspection techniques.
• Execute inspections according to the predefined Quality Plan and established procedures.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, handling non‑conformities (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Interpret inspection results and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Monitor civil activities as per approved procedures and relevant standards.
• Ensure quality of inspection according to the Bureau Veritas quality system.
• Maintain internal communication and promote Bureau Veritas services to clients.
• Participate in knowledge management activities and adhere to security guidelines.
