Civil Inspector – Roads (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to oversee road construction and related civil infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect road construction activities, including earthworks, subgrade, base, asphalt and paving.
• Support inspection of drainage, wet utilities and verify interface works.
• Witness required tests and validate materials and workmanship against specifications.
• Maintain daily diaries, inspection reports, IR records and log non‑conformances.
• Coordinate with contractors, testing agencies and supervision teams to resolve site issues.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of inspection experience on roads and civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and inspection procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a site‑based environment.
