Civil Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Civil Maintenance Engineer will coordinate all civil and building maintenance activities for ADNOC owned properties, ensuring that repairs and modifications are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves preparing maintenance programs, technical studies, and cost estimates while overseeing contractor performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and building maintenance activities across ADNOC owned properties, including office buildings, VIP villas and leased sites.
• Prepare and administer maintenance contracts, ensuring contractor compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements and KPIs.
• Develop maintenance programs, technical feasibility studies and cost estimates for civil works.
• Provide technical expertise and monitor all civil maintenance activities, verifying that repairs are executed promptly and to professional standards.
• Guide Civil Supervisors on technical matters and approve monthly preventive maintenance programs.
• Evaluate technical specifications, tender documents and contractor performance, including site inspections and work order certification.
• Monitor quality management systems, handle non‑conformities, and ensure implementation of PPM plans, risk assessments and method statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in design, construction and maintenance of multi‑storey buildings within a large organization.
