Cladder – Sheet Metal Installation for HVAC & Process Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cladder to install and fabricate aluminium, stainless steel, and galvanized iron cladding on HVAC ducts, chilled water lines, process piping, and related equipment for our oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, roll and fit cladding sheets according to approved drawings and site requirements.
• Install removable cladding boxes for valves, strainers, flanges and other maintenance‑access components.
• Fabricate elbows, reducers, tees, end caps, valve boxes and custom sections using sheet‑metal techniques.
• Secure cladding with rivets, screws, bands, pop‑rivets, sealants and approved fastening systems, ensuring proper overlap, weather‑proofing and finishing.
• Read and interpret HVAC layouts, piping isometrics, P&IDs, GA and insulation drawings, coordinating with insulation crews.
• Repair or replace damaged cladding during construction, pre‑commissioning or maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of cladding experience on HVAC, chilled water or process piping projects.
• Vocational training, trade certification or relevant qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused and able to work in shifts and extended hours.
• Effective communication and team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Sheet metal fabrication and cutting tools.
• Reading HVAC layouts, piping isometrics, P&IDs, GA and insulation drawings.
• Use of rivets, pop‑rivets, screws, bands and sealants for fastening.
