Claims Manager – Lloyd's Syndicate

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Claims Manager to lead the claims function for Sukoon’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2880 in Dubai. This full‑time, market‑facing position will replace part‑time oversight with strategic, end‑to‑end claims leadership across a fast‑growing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between internal claims teams and underwriting leadership, ensuring visibility, alignment and escalation of strategic matters.
• Implement Lloyd’s handling principles, including SLA adherence, audit compliance and technical referrals.
• Engage with brokers and reinsurers internationally, positioning the claims service as a commercial differentiator.
• Oversee large loss reporting and CAT claims coordination, delivering high‑quality management information and syndicate reporting.
• Drive governance and compliance initiatives, partnering with the Managing Agent on training, attestation and audit deliverables.
• Build and scale a claims team capable of handling over 1,000 claims annually within the next 12 months.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in the Lloyd’s or London syndicate market, covering claims adjusting, technical handling or operations.
• Strong technical focus on Property (including PVT) with an understanding of Marine lines.
• Demonstrated passion for delivering market‑leading claims service and strengthening broker relationships.
