Classroom Assistant – Immediate Start in Al Ain

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a UAE National Classroom Assistant to join Al Ain British Academy on an immediate basis. You will work closely with teachers and pupils to ensure a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom, promoting participation in all school activities.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including emotional, behavioural, and social‑skill development.
• Help teachers maintain pupil records, prepare displays of student work, and perform photocopying and other classroom tasks.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other school areas, check attendance, and enforce the school’s behaviour policy.
• Participate in health‑and‑safety duties and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least a secondary school certificate (or a bachelor’s degree).
• Minimum two years of experience working in a school setting.
• Proficiency in English as required by the school curriculum.
• Experience supporting students for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic development of children.
