Classroom Assistant – Noya British School (Academic Year 26/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a Classroom Assistant to join Noya British School for the academic year 2026/2027. The role supports pupils inside and outside the classroom, helping them participate fully in daily activities and promoting their wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to individual pupils or groups to enable full participation in classroom and extracurricular activities.
• Assist with health and safety matters and monitor pupil attendance.
• Help implement and monitor individual education programmes and support pupils with additional needs.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of work, and assist teachers with photocopying and material organization.
• Deliver group or individual instruction as directed, check and correct work, and keep pupils on task.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other areas, contribute to behaviour policy development and manage discipline according to school policy.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school certificate.
• At least two years of experience in a school setting.
• Proficiency in English as per the school curriculum.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not a first language.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.
