Clinical Facilitator

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator will support, guide, plan and facilitate the development of clinical competence for nursing staff, ensuring safe and high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the competence of all nursing staff.
• Ensure correct application of nursing procedures and policies.
• Identify training needs and design appropriate clinical training interventions.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required).
• Unit‑specific certificate or diploma (advantageous).
• Post‑graduate qualification in Nursing, Health Professions or Clinical Education on UAE NQF Level 8 (advantageous).
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS Instructor certifications (desired).
• Minimum 5 years of general or specialised clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in a multicultural private‑healthcare clinical education setting or as a preceptor (advantageous).
• 1‑2 years as a peer mentor and 1‑2 years as a workplace assessor (desired).

Required skills

• Continuous improvement methodologies.
• Facilitation and assessment skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and infection‑prevention and control.
• Computer literacy – MS Office package.
• Understanding of nursing processes, procedures and clinical risk management.
