Clinical Psychologist

About the role

The Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park seeks a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary mental health team. You will work closely with psychiatrists to diagnose and treat patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to both curative and preventive care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric interviews and collect diagnostic data.
• Provide individual, group, family, and couples psychotherapy.
• Apply behavioral methods for children and adults, planning therapy frequency, intensity, and duration.
• Perform psychometric testing for diagnosis and therapy evaluation.
• Engage in research and educational activities to improve treatment methods.
• Offer advice to community organizations and participate in welfare initiatives.
• Respond to after‑hours or weekend calls as required.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Chief Psychiatrist.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical psychology experience.
• Current licensure in country of origin and a DOH license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
