Cluster Shift Supervisor - Engineering

About the role

The Cluster Shift Supervisor – Engineering will lead daily engineering and maintenance operations for the Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, part of the Colbert Collection. This position ensures that all technical services run smoothly, supporting the hotel’s luxury standards and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate engineering and maintenance activities across the shift.
• Lead engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff, ensuring high performance.
• Monitor equipment performance, enforce preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
• Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide work.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Manage inventory, order spare parts, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a large luxury hotel (minimum 500 keys) – pre‑opening experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to supervise shift teams and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
