Commercial Manager

About the role

ADNOC Drilling is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive its commercial strategy across drilling contracts and service agreements. The role focuses on value optimisation, risk management and ensuring contractual integrity throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the VP Commercial in implementing commercial strategy for drilling contracts and related agreements.
• Translate operational requirements into robust contract structures aligned with ADNOC governance.
• Lead negotiations with clients, partners and suppliers to secure optimal terms.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, amendments and commercial frameworks in partnership with Legal and Procurement.
• Conduct commercial, financial and risk analyses to support decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, cash flow and mitigate exposure.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Group policies and UAE regulations.
• Act as the commercial interface between Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Business Development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or Law (MBA or professional commercial qualification preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of progressive commercial experience, preferably in oil & gas, drilling or large EPC/service environments.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation and commercial analysis.
