Commercial Manager

About the role

ALEMCO is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of complex MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will protect project margins, improve cash recovery, and manage contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of assigned projects, ensuring effective cost control and accurate reporting.
• Administer contracts, including FIDIC‑based agreements, variations, and final accounts.
• Protect margins and manage cash‑flow, overseeing subcontract procurement and cost‑value reporting (CVA).
• Handle valuations, claims, and commercial negotiations with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project leadership to ensure robust governance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) experience in commercial management within the construction sector.
• Strong background in MEP quantity surveying and complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage commercial risks, protect margins, and drive cash‑flow recovery.
