Commercial Manager

About the role

The Commercial Manager will act as the primary liaison between KEO International Consultants and clients throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, from post‑award to final handover. This senior position ensures commercial excellence, manages contractual relationships, and drives financial performance on complex builds.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous communication with the Design Executive on all commercial matters.
• Supervise management of project changes and variations.
• Provide guidance and training to project staff on commercial issues.
• Manage settlement and resolution of client and contractor claims.
• Oversee project invoicing and billing to the client.
• Supervise contractual cost controls and financial control procedures.
• Lead commercial and contractual matters, including dispute resolution.
• Participate in cost and contractual review meetings and report outcomes.
• Ensure completion of close‑out formalities and final account preparation.
• Supervise monthly project cost reports and consolidate them for client reporting.
• Provide general commercial and contractual support to project teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction commercial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
• Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is advantageous.
