Commercial Manager – Joinery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and financial performance of a high‑end joinery business in Dubai. The role sits within a wider interiors and contracting group and reports directly to the senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial management from tender to final account, handling budgets, valuations, variations, claims and cost reporting.
• Oversee tendering and estimation to ensure accurate, competitive pricing.
• Manage the Accounts function, including financial reporting, invoicing, cash‑flow, collections and financial controls.
• Direct procurement and commercial negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors and third parties.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to achieve positive commercial outcomes.
• Support HR activities such as recruitment, workforce planning and employee compliance.
• Provide leadership to departmental managers and drive process improvements for profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying/estimation with strong management exposure.
• Proven experience in the UAE or wider Middle East market.
• Background in joinery, fit‑out or interior fit‑out businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial and estimating functions.
