Commis 1 – Cold and Hot Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis 1 to join Accor’s kitchen team in Dubai, working across both cold and hot stations. This entry‑level position offers a platform to develop culinary skills within a global hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Prepare and replenish the workstation and mise en place according to daily requirements and stock lists.
• Follow the captain’s ordering system, ensuring accurate and timely order preparation.
• Assist in the 24‑hour breakfast and à‑la‑carte service, controlling portion size and presentation before dishes reach the pass.
• Support the Sous Chef by reporting any irregularities, safety concerns, or equipment issues.
• Adhere to hotel policies, punctuality, uniform standards, and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with team members, providing assistance as needed to ensure smooth service.
